Want to know how to do your bachelorette party right? Check out these simple tips to make sure it’s the happiest night of your pre-wedding life:
- Set a budget — The wealthier members of your wedding party will have no problem splurging on one big night out, but what about those without the means? If you establish a budget beforehand, it will help you to avoid spending more than you–or any of your friends–can afford!
- Drink responsibly –– This should go without saying, but try not to overdo it on the cocktails! At least one person should be the “group mother”, and should stay sober enough to make sure that everyone is fine and nothing untoward happens. As the bride, you may want to limit your alcohol intake. If not, just make sure someone with a level head keeps an eye on you.
- Your word is law –– There is only one rule for the Bachelorette Party: you get what you want. If you tell someone to do something, they have to do it (within reason, of course). You want more drinks? You get more drinks! Want your friends to stop bickering? They’d better shut up! It’s all about making YOU, the bride, happy. Your friends should be able to deal with that for one night. Note: Don’t let that go to your head. Don’t be a Bridezilla!
- Keep it off social media — DON’T let people know you’re going bachelorette partying beforehand, and keep all photographic evidence to yourself. It’s better not to take pictures at all, but if you must, make a strict “no posting” policy. The last thing you want is some embarrassing pictures of your drunk self being posted to the internet in the days before your wedding.
