Plan a Fairy Tale Wedding in the US Part 2

No fairy tale wedding is complete without a castle, but you don’t need to travel all the way to Europe just to find your perfect castle!

Here are some castles you can find right here in the U.S. of A.:

  • Hammond Castle, Massachusetts — Located in the city of Gloucester, this New England mansion was one of the original seaports in the United States. Not only does it feature some of the best views on the East Coast, but you’ll love the medieval ambience, the antique war paraphernalia decorating the walls, and the epic stained glass windows leading onto the terrace.
  • Squire’s Castle, Ohio — You’d think that a castle would be out of place in Ohio, but when you see this manor in Willoughby Hills, you’ll fall in love all over again. With tall trees surrounding it and a beautifully picturesque landscape, it makes for one of the best wedding photo venues you can find in the Midwest!
  • Thornewood Castle, Washington –- This castle has both an outdoor and indoor wedding venue, which is handy considering that Lakewood, Washington can get pretty cold during the winter. Thankfully, the beautiful castle still has that old-world feel that you can’t help but love, and you can even have a “picture perfect finish” to your wedding: fireworks beside the beautiful lake.
  • Biltmore House, North Carolina –– Fans of Downton Abbey will feel like they’re stepping into the TV show when they walk into this house. Located in Asheville, the venue can hold up to 500 guests thanks to its gorgeous lawn. The chateau is built in the French Renaissance style, and it’s a venue that you can’t help but love!

Check out these fairy tale wedding venues to see if they’re the perfect option for your castle wedding!
